Project RESCUE stands for Repercussions of Elevated Stress from COVID-19 Exposure.
We created 4K videos, web pages and branded material such as social media posts, postcards and flyers for patient outreach that was led by the clinical team.
The goal was to conduct multiple MR imaging studies as well as clinical, genetic, environmental, physiological, behavioral and neuropsychiatric evaluations starting during pregnancy and continuing through the time the child is a preschooler. Because the health of the mother and the infant’s well-being are the No. 1 priority, the clinical team works with community partners to weave a comprehensive safety net that strengthens maternal mental health, boosts parental resiliency and enriches infants’ early environment to offset harms experienced in the womb.
The clinical team leverages its mastery of sophisticated magnetic resonance imaging studies to identify risks of COVID-19-related maternal psychological distress changes and how a baby’s brain develops during pregnancy and after birth.
